Spring Already?
I saw the strangest sight when I stepped out on my front porch this morning to drink my tea. I had two robins in my front yard bickering over something in my front yard. Maybe my old age has affected my memories, but I seem to recall that robins are the first sign of spring. If that is so, then why in the world am I seeing them in January? I know that scientists can't seem to agree on whether global warming is real. Perhaps they should visit my front porch.

Why is it that I love the word "bicker"? It's just so perfect for certain situations, you know?
ReplyDeleteWe just got a ton of snow so no robins here!
We can only hope spring is close at hand!

Popped over from Beadwright's blog--Let's hope those robins are a better barometer of Spring than the Groundhog!
ReplyDeleteI wonder. Today was 57 degrees!
