Randomness

I really couldn't decided whether to call this post roundup or randomness.  So believe it or not, I flipped a coin.  And well you can see what won.  So here are just some random thoughts.

I really wanted to thank Lori Anderson of Pretty Things.  She recently had a drawing on her website (and yes I told everyone here about it and guess what I won.  Lori has some designs in this book and let me tell you there are some gorgeous designs shown.  After paging thru it last night, I was itching to get downstairs and start creating.  Do you think that the guys would notice if I did that when I got home?

I couldn't resist.  I had to stick my toes back into the publishing sector.  I am working for Silver Publishing at a proofreader.  It's nice. I am still catching the errors but after an editor and the author have worked it over with a fine tooth comb.  They have some great books but just as warning, they are rather hot & sexy. 




I am so glad that I have tomorrow off.  Of course the husband has plans for running around tomorrow.  He just doesn't seem to understand that when I am working 10+ hour days that I need that day off to recharge.  Aw well.  I do want to pick up a table and it would be even bonus if we are able to get it delivered before the house party.


House Party.  Aw yes I am finally doing one.  I am not too sure that my friend Liz would let me get away with not having one.  Of course she has to do the planning and perhaps goat roping me to a chair so that I can run away and hide..  But that gemmie has been calling my name.  I swear it Liz.

Fall weather is so strange.  Last Wednesday was 70+ degrees,  I don't think that it got above 40 yesterday.  Is fall/winter over yet?

Well I sure that hope that everyone's week is going grand!
