Jewelry Challenges: Challenge of Color

I have discovered that both myself and my muse love challenges.  They give me a starting spot to jump off from.  There are times when I swear that my biggest bar to coming up with unique designs is that I have too many choices.  When I am given a starting point then my muse comes out to play.  And in this challenge I have discovered just how strongly I react to color even though most of the work so far as been lacking in a lot of it.  Playing safe I think.  Well thanks to Erin Prais-Hintz at Treasures Found and Jessica Colaluca at Design Seeds (you can sign up for the seeds to be sent you via email) I have jumped into the pool of color.  Here is the seed that Erin choose for me.

I have already made on necklace with another running around in my mind.  Now just to find the time.  Of course that means that I have to avoid Skyrim <grin>.
Be sure to check back on November 30th to see what I came up with.

  1. Maybe you should do a secondary challenge of making a piece from Skyrim ;) Either design one in a way that makes you think of the game... or one based on the most prevalent colors from your favorite part... ;)

  2. Looking forward to what you design! I agree it is easier to create when there is a specific goal like a challenge.

  3. The sushi color pallet is Exciting! Can;t wait to see what you come up with :-)

What's on your mind? Let's chat...
