As part of bringing color into my life, I not only made up a necklace but I also painted the walls in my studio changing them from the grey they came with to a sunny Irish Toffee color and put up shelves. It is an inviting room now. It's a much happier room. So I can see myself spending much more time down there.
Now for the necklace that I made. I had a couple goals. One was to use as many of the colors Erin choose for me as possible and the other was to incorporate a new design element. I actually managed to do both. The focal, which was given to my a friend so I don't know who made it, has most of the colors all twirled together. And I used silk for the first but not the last time. I just love how easy it is to change the length of the necklace since I didn't use a clasp, just a bow.
Be sure to stop by everyone else's blogs to check out their creations. I am sure that they will have lots of eye candy to look at.

very pretty, love the focal...I have trouble with yellow but love how you worked with it...
ReplyDeleteVery nice necklace. The pendant is beautiful. The beads compliment it wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteugh! Computer woes are no fun! I love that you and your muse love a challenge. Me, too! I think it was the ABS challenges that got me addicted to them. And putting on this one was truly something selfish for me so that I could get out of my color rut, use what I have and start creating things! I am glad that this was your inspiration, as you made a wonderful necklace! Thank you for persisting to share with us and for playing along. Enjoy the day!
