Word for 2014

English: Everything starts from needs or desir...

I have to admit that I almost forgot about choosing a Word to work towards in 2014.  I ended spending time that I really should have been sleeping trying on different words to see how they fit.

The one that fit perfectly for everything that I am planning on this next year is ACHIEVE.  I have several goals that I would like to see come to completion and manifest themselves.

  • I plan on finally get the home loan on our current house.
  • I plan on making and sharing a new piece of jewelry every week for the Year Of Jewelry Project.
  • I plan on posting a minimum of 200 blog posts next year.
  • I hope to finally get the disability approved for Saje as there is no way that he will be able to work since he has to keep his feet elevated for several hours a day.
  • I plan on working on my Artfire shop and actually start selling there.
I am horrible at making goals and this will actually be the first time I have made solid ones. As I am able to check each goal off of my list, there will be a definite sense of achievement.

Did you choose a word for 2014?  Or do you go for the more traditional resolutions?

  1. Good luck with all you want to accomplish. I have a hard time thinking of a word so I just make goals for mom and I.
    Have a great New Year!

  2. Pinpointing the things that are important and you want to achieve are half the challenge, and you are going to do great this year!! Here's to a wonderful, achievement filled 2014! (my word is up on my blog today and it's 'Observe') :-)
