This post has ran before but the blog hop was rescheduled due to some emergencies in the hostess's life. All of the links should be active so be sure to check out what everyone else has made.
Even though I am pagan and know that fall actually starts in September, it never seems to sink in until October comes around. While there is something that keeps drawing me back to Washington state, one thing I miss living here is the changing of the seasons.
I love watching the leaves turn and all the colors associated with them. It signals to me that it is time to put away the summer and dig out my sweaters and boots. Yep, that's the best part of the season and one that I can still indulge in even though pine trees tend to stay green year around.
Another thing that I tend to indulge in during the fall is the wearing of longer necklaces and would you believe, I didn't have one in fall colors. So when I recieved my beautiful 'sparkling rock' from Rita of Jewel School Friends, I decided that this necklace was to be for me. And I tend to prefer the simpler ones with just a dash of sparkle which highlights this lampwork jewel from Glass Bead Art.
I am really happy with how this necklace turned out. That one bead demands attention and almost glows. Thank you so much Rita for sending me this little jewel and I will think of you and this hop every time I wear it.
Now this is a hop and I am sure that you would like to check out what everyone else made. I have my cup of tea ready and looking forward to it.
