While I had a lot of fun with my teaser pic for the Swap N Hop, I decided that it was time that I actually showed everyone just what I sent to my partner. And just wait until you see what she sent to me.
Now remember the requiresments for this hop is that we send our partner a focal, supporting beads and a clasp. At least, one of the aforementioned items need to be handmade or hand altered.
I am all about options and I am lousy at making decisions about what another would like. So Sue got a few different sets with many roads to travel. There is polymer focal from Andrew Thornton as well as a bracelet bar from Blu Mudd. I also tossed in a mismatched set of ceramics from Firefly Design Studio.
And we can't forget the supporting cast. There is sea glass, rough adventuring rounds, glass tear drops, chain and various copper rings. I also added a clasp that would work great with either a necklace or a bracelet. I can't wait to see which path my partner Sue wanders down.
Now I did promise some bead porn so let me show you the treasure hoard that Sue sent my way. A little bird must had whispered in her ear that I have been having fun with Marsala. And that blue...drool...
And now for a close-up of the headliners. And this is where I feel so spoiled. They were all made by Sue with the exception of the ceramic ring. I love this woman. She decided that she was clasp deficient so she sat down and made some.
And if I wasn't lucky enough already with all my pretties, I found out yesterday that I have a second partner also. I want to write up a post to highlight all her beautiful jewelry so be sure to stay tuned for more info.
such yummy beads that you got and sent
ReplyDeleteLucky you to receive such a beautiful mix of beads to work with.
ReplyDeleteNice! Can't wait to see what you each make.
ReplyDeleteI think you both ended up spoiled with amazing goodies. I can't wait to see what the two of you do with all the lusciousness. But now I think I want some clasps like those too...
