One of this year's goals is to actually complete the Year of Jewelry Project for 2017 and to share what I have made with everyone. After all, I count on you to keep my honest. I had thought about just tucking the pics in with my Ramblings post but then decided they deserve their own post.
If the first week's topic is anything to judge by, this year is going to be a lot of fun & thought. My task was to design a piece of jewelry that would be me if I was jewelry. I know right. First I had to figure out just who I am and ended up deciding that was just to complicated. So I ended up with a snapshot of where my head has been lately.
I tend to a mix of both old & new. And I am all about physical comfort because it can be so hard to find. My go-to outfit which is leggings and a long tunic has suddenly become fashionable again. Oh and I have fallen in love with purple. Mix it all together & I came up with a longer necklace that is as place in the 1920s as it is today.
