Speaking of jewelry, I have signed up with Lori Anderson's Bead Soup and I am excited to be participating this time around. What happens is that she pairs you up with someone that you then send out goodies too. And they do the same. And then you get to design some jewelry with those beads. This is just what I need to give me a kick in the rear end. I mean I have a new studio/playroom, I just need to start playing in it.
On other fronts, I was at RustyCon this weekend. I have to say that I wasn't that impressed especially after going to NorwesCon last year. It just wasn't well organized or attended. I was hoping to pick up a corset to add to my costume but there were hardly any vendors that weren't selling books. The highlight of the weekend was definitely meeting the different panelists. Patricia Briggs is a wonderful person, in fact almost of the panelists were great folks.
So there's a recap of what's been happening with me. I hope everything has been going great with y'all.
I would have loved to meet Patricia Briggs! Her books are wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteOh she is just the nicest lady. So friendly and down to earth. My husband was on the author's panel a couple of times with her.
