I know why. I haven't had any downtime for the last week or so and that really wears on me. And I really hate not having a day to sleep in. Yeah I know that I am whining and if I had kids, I would never had a day to sleep in. Anyways, I did manage to get up and take a friend to court about 45 miles from here. And I did go get my massage. Those were my goals for the day with the exception of catching up on email and blogs.
Well it didn't quite work that way. I got home around 1 to find the hubby resting his mind by playing a video game which meant that I didn't need to entertain him. I grabbed my podcast and planned to kick back in my recliner to take an hour nap. I don't think that I really slept very long at one time but I did manage to drowse until about 6.
And my mind is just becoming active about 7 pm. All in time to blog a bit and then go back to bed.
Do you ever have days where your body/mind just demands that downtime? And what do you do if you aren't able to comply?
