Great
story! Prepare to be taken on a wild ride when Audrey is assigned to
investigate a twenty year old murder. Readers will be taken along on her
investigation and will even get to take a few trips into the past to
meet Missy, the murder victim.
I
really enjoyed this story filled with interesting characters, witty
dialogue, unexpected developments both personally and professionally,
and tension that I didn't expect to find since this was a decades old
murder. I really enjoyed meeting Aubrey's grandmother Charley who ran a
traveling carnival as she has such a fun outlook on life and death.
And
the ending was as unexpected and well worth the wait. While I think
that this book wrapped everything up nicely, I am hoping to see another
in this world since the characters are just so delicious.
I
do recommend GHOST GIFTS to any of my readers who enjoy a mystery with a
touch of paranormal. The sex scenes are few and not graphic so this
book is appropriate for all ages.
