Bead Soup Swap And Create 2021

Welcome back!

When I first started was about the same time I became involved in jewelry design. After a few months, I just into the blog hops with both feet. And my first hop was a Bead Soup Blog Hop hosted by the wonderful Lori Anderson!  Well it has been more than a few years (and health issues)  since then with but I couldn’t resist when Lori announced that she was hosting another.

My wonderful partner, Bee Kuhlman  was more than generous especially when you consider that she ended up sending me out two kits since the postal service ate the first one.  And she definitely send me a challenge as most of the beads were on the small side and I find that I am kinda a size queen.

I ended up making two necklaces for myself. I find that I tend to gravitate to the simpler styles. The first one is really plain but I didn’t want to take anything away from the gorgeous titanium infused crystal point. So after fussing for what seems like forever, I went with a simple chain as this was all the focal desired.

This next one was actually easier though it took more work. The crystal really caught my eye so I added a lampwork head pin to the focal and suspended it from a chain interspersed with wirewrapped crystal links to really highlight the deep colors of the crystal.

Now I want to thank you for visiting and commenting on my humble offerings. It’s much appreciated but this is a blog hop and there are several talented designers just waiting for your company. Just click here, and you will be on your way to the next stop along the path.

  2. I am totally loving both designs! Despite how I like to make complex stuff, it's often the simple designs that I wear the most. Great work all around. Thanks for being such an awesome partner!

  3. These are lovely! I also find that, while I enjoy making super complicated pieces of jewelry, the ones I wear the most are simple and stunning. These definitely fall into that latter category!
